Translation notes:
"unglaublich" rather translates to "incredible"
but it also literally translates to "unbelievable" so this word is both of those meanings at the same time.

this uses "denn" instead of something like "weil" for "because".
"denn" sounds like a better "because" but the closest you can get to having another better "because" in english would be something like "as". youd probably have to settle on "since" cause "as" sounds strange.

also "riesig" usually means something huge instead of giant as in like a building. (but it can also mean that. it just doesnt here.)

"he was incredible/unbelievable as/since he was a giant/huge moth."

would be my take on this sentence if i try to translate every nuance lol.
