Tag for monsters that are clearly inspired in appearance by one or multiple real-life mammals.

  • Do not use for humans.

Do use:

  • Monsters that clearly take major parts of its appearance from one or multiple real-life mammals.
  • Monsters that are ambiguous between two mammals ("looks like a dog or a cat") can use this tag.
  • Monsters that are both a mammal and non-mammal ("definitely a dog but also a dragon") can use this tag.
  • Humanoid monsters should take its appearance from at least one non-human mammal (such as a monkey or furry anthro) to use this tag.

Do not use:

  • Monsters that are ambiguous between a mammal and non-mammal ("looks like a dog or a dragon") should not use this tag.
  • Monsters not looking like another class of animals (reptiles, birds, fishes) is not sufficient to use this tag.
  • Breasts, udders or fur* is not sufficient to use this tag, use specific tags for those features.

*Maybe fur is a good enough indicator if the monster is covered in it?
