Ghost-like monsters with ambiguously solid or physical bodies. Ethereal monsters usually come off as having either:

• Fully non-solid bodies, like traditional ghosts
• Ambiguously gooey or gas-like bodies
• Ambiguously solid bodies with a cloth-like texture
